The Grinberg Method sessions offer processes of learning through the body that consist of a series of 1-hour sessions in which the client meets regularly with a qualified practitioner. These sessions can be done in different formats: weekly or in intensives. The intensive format is useful for people who live far from a practitioner. It involves 2 sessions per day for 2, 3, or 4 days, depending on the practitioner’s proposal.
"As a psychotherapist I was not sure what to expect from a bodywork session online! But thanks to my curiosity I got involved and was so astonishingly thrilled how powerful verbally guided bodywork can be." (Taylor, USA)
A process of learning through the body consists of a series of sessions designed to help you achieve the goals you come with.
Each session is individually designed and is a partnership with the practitioner to follow the body’s work and lead you to autonomy. It offers two types of processes: first, the desire to change repetitive attitudes that limit your freedom, personal or professional future, or the development of your talents; and second, recovering from physical conditions, surgery, or trauma.
The sessions involve a combination of verbal exchange, touch, movement, and breathing, whether you're lying down, sitting up, or standing. As a basis for any process and goals, you learn to relax, let go of tension in your muscles, expand your breathing, quiet your mind, and embody your daily life. As the process progresses, you will go into greater depth and learn to incorporate into your physical experience the emotions, thoughts, sensations, and life history that are fundamental aspects of what is needed to stop. The practitioner will adapt the pace, depth, and intensity to the client. The aim is to guide you to access qualities that are difficult to reach in certain situations, such as clarity, fluidity, flexibility, authenticity, determination, grounding, decision-making in situations of anxiety, stress, or pain, and to develop your talents or embody a project.
The first session starts with an assessment through the feet. This is a way practitioners relate to the gap between your basic potential and the way you are tapping into those abilities today. It’s a fabulous tool to teach you how to reach your goals and connect to your own power and uniqueness. Practitioners can also use touch to awaken your attention to your potential.
